The idea of the game is pretty cool, you get to make choices which effect your character in the game. However the controls are absolutely horrendous I have never seen controls so horrid in a game before, this needs to be fixed in the next update.

There is a problem when you get to the studio and start to set up the equipment...it does not matter if you pick up the mike or the guitar it will not go into your inventory so how are you suppose to place them in the order required...the problem is I can not advance in the game because the bouncer will not let me leave until I set up the equipment its a b shame because I was liking this game. Please fix !

I am loving Always Sometimes Monsters! It has such depth and replayability! So many decisions and choices and the story is awesome. Five stars for sure!

Its a pretty good game, but the controls are awful and there are several game breaking bugs. Currently I cannot progress because every time I load the auto save, I get a black screen and I cant see anything. I would change my rating to a 5/5 if these bugs are fixed in a future update

Great game! Im addicted to it! But there is a major bug. Whenever I try to enter a bus station my game crashes, therefore I cannot progress, especially in the part with town hall and Larry, when Im trying to leave for Salt City. Only real issue Ive noticed with this game!

So excited this game is finally available as an app.

What I have played so far has been great, however, the game crashes frequently on my iPad mini. The problem is even worse on my iPhone 5s; I cant even get past naming my character. The controls also need improvement, in my opinion.

I was having SO much fun with this game on my iPad........... I am half way through the game and cannot get back in after an auto save, all I have is a black screen with the controls. If I reinstall I lose everything I have done so far? Ack!

Loving the game so far in terms of content but I reached the first night of sleep, in my characters 2nd dream day Id try to go outside & the screen would go black, preventing me from continuing the game

Get rid of this monster of a controller! My thumb is just fine!!!!

I love the storyline and the easy controls. I love how I get to choose to date a man instead of a woman, and I love how each choice impacts the story. However, the game constantly crashes. I cannot play for more than 30 minutes without it crashing. Any time I go to the bus stop it crashes. Any time I play the game inside the arcade it crashes. The story is good but if youre easily agitated by consistently crashing games, Id wait until it is updated and fixed.

I bought this game because I was intrigued by the choice to pick your own sexuality. But this games UI is rough. It can be moved around, and I dont consider this a plus. Its in the way, and too big. Both the movement and advance or check mark buttons. You have to press the check mark to advance the words, but it goes too fast, it makes you accidentally choose dialogue options you didnt mean too. The game also boasts you can pick your gender, race, sexuality. This appealed to me. But it gives you a room of pre-made NPCs to pick from, and you dont realize it is your character selection until its too late to change your mind. Your partner is chosen in a similar way. Maybe this game will get better with updates. Honestly, save your money till then.

I dont know why people are complaining about. The game seems pretty smooth to me sure someitmes you mistakenly pick an option you dont want but thats why you save beforehand. The game also allows you to change the decision of your character at the end of the party so, yeah. So far so good! Great game with interesting multiple choices

A Choice & Consequence game where you can pick your race, gender - and even sexuality. I havent seen games like these in a while, and just had to pick it up. I havent expierienced any crashes, or any major glitches so far. (I am playing on an iPad Air) Make sure to give this game a go if you are an RPG fan, and/or a lover of making important decisions within videogames.

I absolutely love this game, the way its built, played, managed, and understandable. Its is fun and packed with mystery and entertainment. Your actions matter. But theres one bug thats made me want to uninstall until its fixed, and this is that when ever i turn off my phone or it turns itself off or dies, while im playing the game, when i start it back up, my progress will have been saved, and i am able to load it, but when i do, instead of the game, im introduced with a black screen and controls, that do work, but control nothing, for yet again, its just a black screen. This has happened bout five or six times now, and every time it happens i have to start a new game. Ive considered uninstalling until this bug is fixed, but the game is so fun i hesitate to

For an iPhone RPG. This game IS GREAT! Actual choices with actual affects on ur story. Honestly its worth the price great game. Imagine a calmer version of GTA in the sex, drugs and mischief ways. Overall 5/5 I have had 0 problems launching game on iPhone 5 not bad graphics

The game ran well with a few bugs on the iPhone5. Audio would sometimes stop until you enter a new area, but I am satisfied with what I have played so far. Its definitely worth buying. Hopefully they come out with an update in the future.

Overall the game is great but I keep running into issues. Whenever I try to load my game save that was saved in the Phoenix Room club, the screen is black but the music is playing and the UI is visible. Also the controls are a little touchy and sometimes I select a dialog option on accident due to the speed of the text.
